About the Artist
I commenced my painting career in the Studio
of Arthur Spooner - one of Nottingham's most famous artists, over a two year period.
Before entering advertising as a Graphic Artist.
I moved about to various studios throughout England to gain experience,
I also taught art for three years.

In 1984 I was the winner of the "silver Palette" competition,
which is sponsored by Derby City Council and Derbyshire Building Society,
a prestigious award for artists living in the Midlands, my painting being chosen out of
400 entries.

I have completed three calendars for British Coal, who have presented my paintings to
the Duke of Kent and numerous Politicians.
My work is also shown on Spillers Calendars and on a range of quality greeting cards.
